They understand that beauty starts from within, and provide a homeopathic approach to skincare that transforms your mind along with your body. Every service is customized to a customer’s needs, through a combination of aromatherapy, gemstone infusion, and nature’s own CBD. Helen, what is your background?

I am a proud Texan and Houston native. Beauty has always been my passion, and striving for the best has been rooted in me from a very young age. After graduating High School I chose to take a different path than a 9 to 5 and focus solely on Beauty. I graduated from the Institute of Cosmetology & Esthetics as a CIDESCO Diplomat in 2007 with an internationally certified, equivalent to a Masters in beauty. Understanding that it is not only the outside that matters to bring out your beauty, I also acquired a double license in massage and esthetics. Working at prestigious spas in Houston and Austin, finally I opened my skincare center in 2017 after decades of accumulated skincare knowledge and customer service skills.

Why should a customer choose Elestial Lounge?

Our skin care treatment center caters to men and women alike, we focus on mind, body, and soul rejuvenation. We believe beauty comes from within and we strive to relax the mind, rejuvenate the body and enter a deeply relaxing meditative state of overall well-being. Skincare treatments at Elestial Lounge are more than just a service they are a journey and an experience that cannot be matched elsewhere. We use hand-selected aroma oils in all our treatment rooms that have an intoxicating relaxing effect that drives you into a meditative slumber. Music is also selected to the customized frequency that is specially catered to your wellbeing, but mostly I wanted to offer something that has never been done before, at least not in Houston.

Opening Houston’s first CBD lounge meant merging art and beauty, to “normalize” the Skincare experience to men and women alike, because we all deserve to treat ourselves and be the best version of ourselves that we can be. Especially for men with the misconception that skincare is only for females. Most men struggle to keep a healthy beard or treat beard patches without skin breakouts or even take care of tattoos without facing the same problem, with the CBD anti-inflammatory characteristics they can keep their skin, Ink, and beard nourished without the complications that come with it.

What made you want to start this business?

I decided I wanted to start my own business because I wanted to offer something that hadn’t been done before, at least not in Houston. Opening Houston’s first CBD lounge I wanted to merge art and beauty, “normalize” the day spa experience for men and women alike, because we all deserve to treat ourselves and be the best version of ourselves that we can be. no other spa had done that, and I opened the doors to a new way of luxury and self-care with Elestial Lounge.

What are the advantages that come with owning your business?

The biggest advantage of owning my business is turning my vision into reality and single-handedly creating a new type of holistic skincare for all to enjoy.

What are your future goals for Elestial Lounge?

Elestial Lounge is the trailblazer of CBD skincare in the future years we have plans to expand our locations as we already travel to cities in California and Austin Texas, so my goal is to train and franchise our services to allow permanent locations to serve our loyal clients in these areas and hopefully nationwide. Cannabis is a healing herb that has been used in the medical field to produce many medicines we have today and I try to educate people on the healing benefits it has been naturally available in its pure form today.

What is your mission statement?

We believe Beauty starts from within, so we are here to break the stigma on cannabis and skincare centers alike.

A clear, healthy complexion mirrors a healthy soul; CBD brings cells to homeostasis balancing the body while promoting an overall healthy body.

What are the biggest issues for running this business?

Elestial Lounge can be mistaken as a place where women go to pamper themselves like normal Spas but our skincare center offer more than just that, self care is very important to men and women alike and I am providing the right products catered to all skin types and the biggest challenge we are dedicated to correct is how the media projects CBD as marijuana to confuse the public to hide its benefits and prevent millions of losses to the pharma synthetic products that damage both your skin and your bank, but thanks to outlets like this and the internet the public is now more educated on the natural benefits and our industry is booming

Elestial Lounge currently does not have employees but we do offer online training and product knowledge, classes.
